StoveLogs are a new product just added to our fuel range.  They are approx 4 inches in diameter and range from 2 to 10 inches long.

These logs are made entirely from reclaimed wood generated from waste from building sites, off cuts from roofing timbers and joists, or broken pallets and the like.

There may be very small amounts of chipboard or thermalite and very small amounts of treated wood in the logs hence the recommendation for use in wood-burning stoves only.

The moisture content of the StoveLogs is under 10% and they light very easily and burn with long flames.  If the air supply is restricted they last for long times – blazing quickly once the air supply is restored.  On our trials we have found that they stay in overnight with no need to completely fill the firebox.

The heat output is good, although they do not burn quite as hot as Eco-logs.  We feel that they are a good alternative to Eco-logs, especially in these times of downturn in the building industry when sawdust is in such short supply so the manufacture of Eco-logs is limited.
